    • Canadian Health: Contraception and Erectile Dysfunction

These days there is a more relaxed attitude to discussing subjects such as sex and contraception, but many people still find it difficult to ask questions about these topics. Generally, people with diabetes are no different from those without diabetes in any aspect of sexuality, fertility, infertility and contraception. However, there are some problems, such as the increased risk of impotence (sometimes known as erectile dysfunction) in men who have had diabetes for many years.  This is often caused by neuropathy (nerve damage) or poor blood supply. Nowadays there are a variety of treatments available and if you are concerned about erectile dysfunction you should speak to your doctor. There have been very few studies of the effect of diabetes...

    • Canadian Health Care: Life with diabetes

FASTING AND DIABETES People with diabetes who fast during Ramadan may experience large swings in blood glucose levels, as a result of the long gaps between meals and the consumption of large quantities of carbohydrate-rich foods during the nonfasting hours. Therefore, if you have diabetes, you may be exempt from fasting. However, many people with diabetes do not want to be exempted from a religious observance that they feel strongly about. If you have Type 2 diabetes and are treated by diet alone there should be no problem with fasting during Ramadan. However, there will be major changes in the pattern of eating during this month, which may affect your diabetes. If you are treated with insulin injections, sulphonylurea tablets,...

    • Health and Care Research: Priapism

The team "CanadianHealthCareMalll.Com" conducted research in this area and that's what happened, read our article! Priapisms of primitive appearance (idiopathics) Some of these can be caused by: Extended erotic performances; Pathological psychic states (phantasms, fatigues, psychic traumatisms); Cortical lesions, encephalitis, tumors; Medullar alterations (strangulations, plaque sclerosis, tabes, tumors, tuberculosis); Reflexes caused by local stimuli of vicinity (rarely the priapism can occur after an anal dilatation or an intestinal parasitosis). Secondary priapisms triggered by a common causal affection: Leukemic priapisms with a frequency of twenty five-thirty percent; Priapisms through the diminishment of the venous drainage because of the modification of the sanguine viscosity as in: hypercapnia, poliglobulitis, trombocytemia, anemia with phalciphorm cells (the first cause of priapism at black people); The...

    • Health Care Pharmacy: What is Diabetes

Canadian Health Care Mall: WHAT HAPPENS IN DIABETES? Why does the body need insulin? The liver plays a dual role in processing food. It converts simple chemicals into complex substances which are then stored for future use and it also allows breakdown of these stores when they are needed for fuel. This process is controlled by insulin. For example, in the absence of insulin, glycogen (starch) is broken down into glucose, which pours out of the liver into the bloodstream (and then into the urine). Insulin switches off this outpouring of glucose and causes the glucose to be stored as glycogen. Thus insulin ensures that a perfect balance is kept between the production of glucose and its storage, and in...

    • Canadian Health: Synthetic vitamins are not useful for your body

During junior high school, I read about neurotransmitters and how specific amino acids from protein, minerals and other nutrients serve as precursors to their formation. Neurotransmitters are hormones that transmit signals from a neuron to another across a synapse, the space between nerve cells. Our brain requires neurotransmitters to facilitate proper nerve firing, the formation of memories, and logical thinking. In preparation for my college entrance exams, the SATs, I searched for supplements to enhance my cognitive abilities and elevate my IQ. I did not know that most of the supplements I purchased from local health food stores contained synthetic vitamins and isolated nutrients. Some of the “brain powders" I consumed even contained aspartame, an artificial sweetener used as an...

    • Canadian Health: The Hypersexuality at Women

by request Canadian Health&Care Pharmacy - "www.canadianhealthcaremalll.com". Regarding the influence of the factors from the internal environment, and especially of the ones of endocrine origin over the sexual behavior, certain authors have studied the excessive feminine eroticism at a number of women between twenty and forty five years old and grouped them in the following categories:  Hyperhypophyzofoliculinical women (with hyperestrogenism) through excess of hypophisiary gonadotrope hormones; Hyperhypophyzoluteinic women (the ones with excess of progesterone through hypophisiary gonadotrope over-stimulation); Women with hyper-androgenism (the ones that have an increased secretion of androgens of cortico-over-renal origin or through masculinizing tumors of the ovary); Women with hyperthyroidism. It has been determined that the women with hyperfoliculinia (hyper-estriogenism) of hypophysiary origin have a strictly vaginal...

    • The Sexual Impotence

Until now we only enumerated a part of the means of the therapeutic arsenal with harmful action over the sexual behavior, as it results from the observations of the medical practice, but it is to assume that other medicines can have this kind of actions. Looking at the pathogenic mechanisms that determine, at some groups of medicines, an inhibitory action over the sexual behavior, only for some of them we have an explanation. It is known that in the adjustment mechanisms of the sexual behavior, a very important role has the existence of a certain balance of the vegetative nervous system sympathetic and parasympathetic.  It is considered that a normal sexual behavior necessitates a certain balance and mutual conditioning between...

    • Health News: Penis Enhancement

Many questions plague humanity: Is there a God, Why are we here, Chicken or egg, Yankees or Redsox, and that two-part oldie, but goodie: Does size matter? Can anything be done about it? The answer to the last question is a resounding “Yes!” Fortunately for men interested in male enhancement, modern medicine now has a solution that helps many achieve their goal of penile enlargement. For those of you who just muttered, “Yeah, right, Doc! Up to now the book’s been great, but you just lost me. I’ve seen the endless list of ludicrous and salacious penis enlargement ads in magazines and newspapers, and on the internet touting everything from secret sauces to bags of magic beans, as the one...

    • Platelet-Active Drugs: Effectiveness and Side Effects

The Pulmonary Embolism Prevention trial has established that aspirin is effective in preventing venous thromboembolism after surgery for hip fracture. This was a double-blind multicenter study of 13,356 patients undergoing surgery for hip fracture and of an additional 4,088 patients undergoing elective hip or knee arthroplasty. Patients were assigned to receive aspirin, 160 mg, or placebo, once daily for 5 weeks, with the first dose starting before surgery. Other forms of prophylaxis were allowed, and either heparin or low-molecular-weight heparin was used in about 40% of the patients. Among the 13,356 patients with hip fracture, aspirin produced a 36% reduction in symptomatic deep venous thrombosis or pulmonary embolism (PE) [absolute risk reduction, 0.9%; p = 0.0003]. A similar RR reduction in patients who were assigned to received aspirin was observed...

    • Treatment Erectile Dysfunction

Finally, any injury, birth defect, scarring or other physical defect of the penis that interferes with the penis’ nerve supply or blood flow is considered an anatomical cause of ED. A relatively common example (up to 5% of the male population) of an anatomical ED cause is Peyronie's disease, an abnormal curvature of the penis resulting from autoimmune disease that scars the lining of the corpora cavernosa. This irregular curvature of the male sex organ impairs function of the erectile chambers by restricting their ability to perform the blood flow activities required for erection.  The second major classification of ED causes is psychogenic. Again, psychogenic means having to do with the mind. The list of psychogenic causes includes mental concerns...

    • Shrinking of the capillaries

Many of the human painful states and bad spirits are due to the shrinking of capillaries. The shrinking and expansion of capillaries happens under the influence of electricity and magnetism. One should live a normal life, respect the laws of nature, in order great shrinking of the capillaries not to happen.  What kind of thoughts and feelings cause shrinking of the capillaries? Negative ones. So, every evil thought, every bad feeling, and every bad deed narrows the capillaries and interrupts the flows of electricity and magnetism in the human organism. Electricity and magnetism move along certain lines. They have a specific rhythm. When the lines of movement and rhythm change, certain disharmony establishes in the organism and we say that...

    • Increased pulmonary NECs

The area of bombesin-immunopositive NEBs in the alveolar ducts was divided by the area of the tissue section to obtain %NEB area. For subjects with more than one biopsy site (subjects 2 and 6-10), quantification of bombesin-immunopositive area was analyzed as the aggregate of all airways counted. Statistical Analysis Statistical analyses were performed using GraphPad Prism and InStat (GraphPad Software, Inc; San Diego, California). Data were compared with Mann-Whitney U test or Kruskal-Wallis with Dunn multiple comparisons test. Association between age and NEC indices was measured using Spearman correlation. A two-sided P < .05 was regarded as significant. Results Viagra Clinical, Radiographic, and Histologic Features of Study Subjects Table 1 shows the overall demographic and clinical features of the study population. Prominent comorbidities were present in the other-diseases...
